Home Iceland & Scotland April/May 2005 Back to Travel

Iceland wasn't our list of places we'd like to visit; even though it's a long list. Our friend Vanessa called in the fall and said she had a free place to stay and was looking for someone to travel with her. How could we say no? It turns out that flying to Iceland and back is expensive, but flying there and staying then flying on to Europe before returing is inexpensive. So we spent the last week of April in Iceland and the first week of May in Scotland.

Most of the names shown are US Keyboard approximations of the Icelandic names. The Icelandic Alphabet has 32 letters (depending on what resource you use!).
